Butler Missouri Law Office

The Chris Benjamin Law Firm’s Butler office is located in the Caskey Professional Building on the historic Bates County Square in Butler Missouri. The firm utilizes the services of Caskey Paralegal Services, working with Kay Caskey and her paralegal staff to assist in many criminal law, personal injury, and domestic matters.

Legacy of Harold Caskey

Before founding the Chris Benjamin Law Firm, Chris was on staff in the Missouri Senate where he worked closely with Senator Harold Caskey and his wife Kay. Chris staffed the Financial and Governmental Organization, Veterans’ Affairs and Elections Committee; a committee of which Harold Caskey was an influential member. Harold was a mentor to Chris during his early years as an attorney and Chris continues to utilize Harold’s methods as an aggressive advocate with a client-centered approach.

The Caskey family has been a legal fixture in Bates County for decades. Senator Harold Caskey started practicing law in Butler in 1965. He served as State Senator for the 31st District of Missouri for 28 years. Harold sponsored and passed 327 bills in his 28 years as a Senator. Harold also served as Bates County Prosecutor and a member of the Bates County Memorial Hospital Board. Kay Caskey continues to serve the community as past-President of Butler Rotary, Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6080, board member of the Friends of the Butler Senior Center, Butler Senior Services Board, Butler Main Street Board, and a Trustee of the Freedom Frontier board. Chris Benjamin is proud to follow in the footsteps of the great Harold Caskey.
